Dr. Shawn Garlington, DNP PMHNP FNP-BC
CEO & Founder
Driven by a deep belief that no one should face life’s challenges alone, Dr. Garlington is committed to ensuring her patients receive the best care and achieve their highest level of wellness.
With over 20 years of experience in the medical field, she earned her PMHNP degree from the University of Cincinnati and her Doctorate of Nursing in Family Medicine from South University.
Having witnessed firsthand how mental health struggles affect individuals, families, and communities, she works to foster healing, growth, and resilience. She brings a modern, compassionate approach to care, blending personal experience with evidence-based practices.
Believing in holistic wellness alongside conventional medicine, Dr. Garlington collaborates with community resources to create long-term treatment plans that support each patient’s health and life goals.
Derrius Bobbitt, LICDC
Licensed Counselor & Behavioral Skills Speacialist
Derrius Bobbitt is passionate about helping individuals and families affected by substance use disorders reclaim their lives. Based in Columbus, Ohio, he brings over 5 years of experience in outpatient and residential treatment, as well as providing school-based support for youth.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology and is currently pursuing a master’s in social work. Derrius integrates practice-based treatment with trauma-informed care, cognitive-behavioral therapy, motivational support, and personalized counseling to aid in relapse prevention.
Committed to empowering underprivileged and minority boys, Derrius works to build confidence, life skills, and resilience, both in schools and the community. He is also a strong advocate for holistic wellness and community connection, helping clients and families move forward in recovery and achieve lasting growth.
Leah Rumph, LPN
Licensed Practical Nurse & Mental Health Support Specialist
Leah Rumph is a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a deep passion for mental health care. As a mother, she brings a personal perspective to her work, understanding the challenges families face and the importance of compassionate, practical support.
Leah was drawn to the mental health field after seeing how many people receive little support after leaving hospitals or rehab programs, and through her own experiences with family members facing addiction. These experiences inspired her to bridge gaps in care, advocate for underrepresented individuals, and provide follow-up that patients truly deserve.
With her medical background, Leah blends clinical knowledge with empathy, creating a safe, welcoming space for clients to heal and grow. She believes in meeting individuals where they are, helping them build resilience, develop coping strategies, and achieve their wellness goals.
Barriana Woods, MA MAT
Director of Community & Youth Programs
Barriana Woods is a dedicated educator and mental health advocate, committed to supporting youth, families, and communities.
Barriana earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee at Martin, her Master of Teaching from Cumberland University, and her Master’s in Communication from Austin Peay State University. She is currently a doctoral candidate, focusing on developing safe and effective leaders for youth.
Barriana focuses on connecting individuals and families to resources, community support, and opportunities for growth and wellness. She also provides counseling when needed, helping clients build resilience and access the tools they need to thrive.
Guided by her belief that every child and family deserves support that fosters personal and academic growth, Barriana works to create strong, safe communities and opportunities where hope, healing, and connection can flourish.
